Players Left: Amy Poehler, Viola Davis
Amy and Viola attended the final Tribal Council, where they faced the Jury of seven - Dot-Marie, Kristen, Bill, Ashley, Stephen, Alexa and Jack. The Jurors would ask their questions and vote for a winner, but first Amy and Viola made their opening statements.
Amy went first:

THE 3 MUSKETEERS = #TEAMINSIDEOUTOREO
It was gag at first site when I met Viola and Kristen. Instantly we made a final 3 deal. And our team name, well, I think, the team name I made up and stuck with in my journals was Team Inside-Out Oreo. A tad racist, but accurate.
The highlights of my journey...
The amazing alliance of:
I totally called Urijah and Carrie working together. Tagi broke that up quickly
Stephen and Bill joining Kristen, Viola, and I before merge
The Amazing teamwork of Tagi. I took lead of the Card Challenge and Money Challenge. I received a lot of help from every team member. I remember Viola found out about the hidden white text in the Money Challenge, which allowed me to create a template for everyone to distribute the money. Bill helped with the Card & Money challenge to make sure my math was correct. It was really a great team effort. I also remember Jake trying super-super-super hard in the distorted image challenge. Stephen was a wiz at Puzzles.We really had a great team after Urijah and Carrie left. LOL.
One of the worst things for Tagi was losing Jake, which resulted in a 5 vs 5 at merge. Kristen won the tie breaker against Jack. HOWEVER, after that crazy win, shit was stirring, and Chris approached Viola & I and said Bill & Stephen wanted to make a deal with Ashely & Dot and flip on Tagi. I mean, it was only a matter of time (I think everyone knew about Team Inside-Out Oreo, we were a thing)....and Tagi would flip eventually and try to take out the fab 3. Luckily, the fab 3 was one step ahead. We took out Stephen first (sorry Stephen! I really liked you), but we couldn't have you & Bill together anymore. And Stephen was perceived a threat in future challenges, so we didn't want to take any chances.
Chris was actually a great resource for the fab 3. He told us who was with each other and who everyone was gunning for. Too bad he quit! LOL
Another scary moment was Kristen vs. Ashley in another tie breaker. And Bill voted for Kristen. But luckily, K-dawg won again. And after that, it was Bi Bi Bill. Sorrys!
The biggest WTF moment of the century, how the F did Dot win the guessing game challenge. There went the fab 3.
And now we're here today....
For those stories to have occurred, it took a lot of socializing, loyalty, wits, and FEMALE WARRIOR POWER....
On a real note: the reason why I am at the finals, is teamwork. I am not going to take all the credit. I cherished my loyal alliance of Viola and Kristen. I worked really well with Tagi, which lasted me to merge and beyond. Chris and Dot were amazing. All the connections with the right people, led to the right way. That sounds like something from the bible. Lawls.
I am so happy to share the final 2 spots with Viola. Here's a picture of us right now:
Here's to getting the votes!!!! Best of luck...
Hope you guys/gals liked the music video rap thang...just wanted to do something cute-sy
<3 AMY
Then Viola:
Hi Everyone. Sorry, no cute or silly rap from me. I’m going to be as straightforward as I can.
You should vote for me because I think I played a more aggressive game than Amy.
~~~
I set myself up in a great position very early. Examples include:
- Immediately forming an alliance with Amy and Kristen and an unbreakable voting block. The three of us always voted together, and ultimately voted for the person that ended up leaving in that particular round. While we were all on Tagi, everyone besides the three of us received votes at the three Tribal Councils we attended before the Merge.
~~~
I was social with the right people, which lead to me learning important information. Examples include:
- Learning from Jake that Urijah was telling Tagi that the Girls and I need to be split.
- Learning from Dot and Chris about Bill and Stephen’s plan to flip at Final 7 and vote us off.
- Learning from Dot that Bill wanted to vote against Kristen at the Final 6 to force a tie to save Ashley.
Side Note regarding my social game (this mainly applies to Jack & Alexa): Whenever I play a game, I rarely participate in cross-tribe communication unless someone tries to speak with me first (because I’m not going to be rude and ignore the person, lol). Even though it’s allowed in this series, it’s just a personal preference of mine. I gain nothing from talking to someone that isn’t on my tribe, all it does is make things easier for me in the event of a tribe swap or merge, and it almost feels like cheating. I mention this to you both because I personally spoke with Alexa 0 times (sorry, I just knew you were getting voted out the round you did, so there was no point) and Jack barely once or twice.
~~~
I made moves before the people targeting me could. Examples include:
- Voting off Urijah before he could successfully plant the idea how obvious the Girls and I were.
- Voting off Stephen to make it harder for the Girls and I to end up in a minority. When Kristen won the tiebreaker and gave us majority, I was committed to working with Tagi to pick off Pagong, until I heard from Dot and Chris about the plan of Bill, Stephen, Ashley, and Dot working together to pick us off. Why wouldn’t I vote for someone that’s conspiring against me?
~~~
I kicked ass in challenges. Examples include:
- Winning 4/8 Individual Immunity Challenges
- Out of the other 4 Individual Immunity Challenges I lost, I came in 2nd place in 3 of them (Majority Rules, The Money Challenge, and the Colored Balls one – obviously not the States Archive one, lol).
- Being the one to figure out which number every player was in the Money Challenge.
~~~
I had lots of control and knowledge throughout the game. Examples include:
- I always knew who was getting votes at Every Tribal Council I attended, and who was voting for whom.
- Amy and Kristen would always ask me who to vote each round. I tell them, and they listen.
- I was the majority answer for "Who is in control?" in the Majority Rules challenge, and I don't disagree.
~~~
I was very vocal and honest about my intentions. Examples include:
- Confronting Bill about the "Dot+Ashley Thing" after Stephen got voted out and confronting him about whether or not he was going to vote Kristen at Final 6.
- Being open about some of the votes I was making. When I voted for Jake, Ashley, Bill, Kristen, and Dot, I made it a point to let them know I was voting for them.
~~~
I was loyal to my Girls. Examples include:
- Even though I was immune for half of the post-merge game, I was also able to make sure Amy and Kristen stayed safe as well. Individual Immunity is only good for one person, but I was able to keep the target off of all three of us.
- Never casting a vote against them until Amy and I were forced to at the Final 4.
- Bringing Amy to the Finals ~ view this as a copout if you want to. I could have been risky and brought Dot, but none of that would have been consistent with my game. If I was working with Amy from the very beginning, AND if I saw her as an “easier” person to beat, then why would I suddenly throw that all away?
~~~
And I’ve been to 10 Tribal Councils, and never received a vote cast against me (but now, please feel free to write my name down )
~~~
Though the game worked out in my favor pretty well, there were lots of factors that could have altered how everything went. Kristen's performance in the two tiebreakers she participated in were crucial, because Tagi would have been in a minority if she lost to Jack, and Amy and I would have been in a 2-3 minority if Kristen lost to Ashley. My game also relied a lot on trust ~ people make alliances all the time, some work and some don't. I was very fortunate enough that mine with Amy and Kristen was bulletproof, and that they never turned against me (when they easily outnumbered me), and I'm also lucky that Bill and Stephen never tried making a move against us earlier.
Lastly, when I signed up as Viola Davis, I really wanted to emulate her character, Annalise Keating on "How To Get Away With Murder." She's a cutthroat and manipulative Defense Attorney who will do anything and find whatever loopholes she can to win cases for her clients, and she's willing to go through EXTREME measures to protect her students caught up in a murder investigation, and I think I did a pretty great job. I played hard, whether it was my social game to get information that would later save me in the game, or my physical game that lead to me being untouchable for half of the post-merge game and allowed me to protect my Girls as well.
To sum everything up, I played the exact game I wanted to when I started. I formed a 3-person alliance that made it to the Final 4. I was able to vote out the people that were targeting me before they could make their move. I won 4 Individual Immunity Challenges. I never received a vote cast against me. I had a general idea of what was going on each round and knew who would be leaving. I worked my black ass off to get here, and it wasn't the greatest ride, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
It was great playing with you all, and thanks for an entertaining season! Good luck Amy!
It was now the Jury's turn to ask their questions.
Jack went first:
Hey you pieces of shit.
One of you has my vote locked 99%. Amy you ARENT that person.
See, when I hit merge, I was SO ready to ditch my tribe (besides Dot and Ashley) and hitch onto Tagi. There was no way in hell I was gonna pagong anyone. I don't play these games to have an obvious boring game where the majority five votes the minority out one by one. That's not fun. That's not anything I would be interested in. At all. So when we merged and the dreadful premerge game was done, and I got to talking to Bill and Amy and Viola, I was absolutely thrilled that there was some life on Tagi. There was persobality and conversation and possibilities that definitely weren't presented to me on Pagong. Pagong had crazy Chris, deadbeat Drew, and that thot Taylor. It was a mess and it was not fun from round one onward.
And I was so so ready to flip. But I couldn't do that immediately. It would be stupid. I would potentially be setting myself up for sixth place when all along I was playing to be Sue Hawk. Fourth place queen.
So I made a deal with Amy Poehler that we would keep our names out of the mouths of our original tribes. I volunteered to choose who we attacked in the first merge immunity challenge and pretended it was random.org so I could keep Amy safe. I made plans with Dot to flip asap. I was ready.
And then Tagi started attacking me.
Amy told me it happened when she logged off. So I forgave her.
The next day, when discussing the vote before I left for work... Amy asked who we were voting. I ensured her it wasn't her. She ensured me it wasn't me either. She asked who we were voting. I said she had to tell me first. I waited half an hour. No reply. I left for work.
I come back to find my name as the one written down by Tagi.
Now, in all honesty, it was probably the best thing for everyone but Dot. And maybe Ashley too. But as we all can see, Dot (who, sorry to say, was the low man on premerge Pagong and next to go before Drew fucked up and Taylor went for Alexa) managed to make f3 on her own. Major props. She killed it.
But compared to maniacs like Chris and egotistical bastards like Stephen I shouldnt have gone. The vote shouldn't have switched to me. I shouldn't have been the Gretchen.
So. Amy. I hate you. Like I said in the jury thread when someone told someone else not to call you a goat, "let's not just call her a goat let's also call her a lying deceiving piece of shit ass bitch with a severe underbite and an even more severe case of man-jaw." Because that's what you are. I don't want you to prove me otherwise. I don't want you to try and win me over.
You know what I want from you?
I want you to write at minimum ten descriptive reasons why I am amazing. Why am I gorgeous and flawless and beautiful and stunning? Why am I powerful and the best ever? This is to make up for needlessly lying to me when you could've just said I was going instead of promising me safety and then convincing your tribe to vote me.
Viola, on the other hand, while most of the jurors feel like Amy was more social and you were not on as often, who gives a shit! You were an immunity FIEND and an absolute powerhouse presence from day one. Of course, the way this game was set up I really didn't get to see anything from you but your challenge participation.. (Which is another reason I didn't like this game. First juror don't know shit about you two finalists but two days of communication.) but from what I saw you were a ruler and, yeah you're also a coward who took the spineless sack of chicken semen to finals with you over the only other endgame competitor, but you are also by far hands down my pick to win.
And if you don't vote viola to win YOURE racist.
What I want from you, Viola, is the exact same thing as I asked of Amy. But neither of you can use the same reasons or you lose my vote. And I am the alternate juror. My vote is what won Mitch the game in All Stars 2. Do yall know about that? All stars 2 final three was absolute shit. None of them played well. So the vote was a 3-3-3 split based on their allies. And the alternate juror votes Mitch to win because they had sexted once. So sext me up. Get my heart pumping and my dick twitching. Let's see where this goes.
One last thing.
Viola, you've been like a slimy little serpent all season. Strong. Venomous. But sly. Scaly defenses. Hard to attack because you're so quick and armed.
Amy, your furry upper lipped ass and your didn't stop sucking your thumb soon enough front teeth prove that you, with your lying and your shadiness, are a rat.
Let us let this end how nature intended it.
For the snake to eat the rat.
Viola answered:
Hello Jack Attack! Thanks for the kind words. I think they were kind? HAH. Sorry for getting this to you so late, but here you go! You asked for 10 reasons, but I gave you 13 -- 3 extra ones for the 3 extra days it took me to get this done
Reason #1: Your sense of humor is to die for!
Reason #2: Your interviews are the best!
Reason #3: We’re co-workers! Why wouldn’t you help a co-worker win a million dollars?!
Reason #4: Because I’m all about the ass, and you seem to be too
Reason #4: You’ve given people a reason to channel the artists within them! #Coliver
Reason #5: And speaking of art, you seem to have a taste for quality work … ?
Reason #6: You aren’t a racist! As proven in these multiple pictures you’ve taken with our other co-worker. I must admit, I am a bit jealous.
Reason #7: You support anything related to sexting. And who wouldn't if it can help catch a murderer?
Reason #8: You’re so smart and recognize great work when you see it!
Reason #9: Because you’re so cute when you’re thirsty!
Reason #10: Because you’re not afraid to eat Girl Scout Cookies besides Thin Mints!
Reason #11: In a Twitter Q&A, you picked Batman over Superman, and we all know Batman Is the hottest one!
Reason #12: Because you’re everywhere to me, and when I close my eyes it’s you I see! You’re everything I know that makes me believe, I’m not alone!
Reason #13: YOU’RE HIV NEGATIVE, YAY!
Then Ashley:
Congratulations ladies on making the finals.
My question is a fun one. I want you to write out this season's storyline as if it was an actual season of Survivor. What would the arcs of each episode be, and what would be the most exciting episodes? Likewise, what do you think your character arc would be on the show?
Also, how would you rank this season compared to the ones on the TV show? Is it one of the best, somewhere in the middle, or one of the worst?
Thanks ladies. Good luck.
Viola answered:
Hi Ashley,
Sorry in getting this over to you so late. I was kinda confused on how I was supposed to do it, so I hope it’s right lmao. Please let me know if I need to add anything.
SEASON 32 STORYLINE:
25 days ago, 16 contestants were dropped off in the tiny state of Delaware to begin the adventure of a lifetime. But they were quickly pulled apart when they got divided into two tribes of 8 – Pagong & Tagi, and when the season’s “Back To Basics” twist was revealed – no Hidden Immunity Idols, Swaps, or Prizes, tribes knew they were going to be stuck with each other until the merge and that forming immediate bonds would be crucial.
At Tagi, while the majority of the tribe was getting to know each other, Viola wasted no time in solidifying a female alliance with Amy and Kristen, the two people she bonded with immediately. For Pagong, -insert some things that happened on Pagong before merge-
The two tribes alternated in winning and losing an even number of challenges, leading up to a Final 10 showdown that would test tribal loyalties. Efforts to get other tribe members to flip on each other failed, and both tribes proved loyal to each other when they forced Kristen of former Tagi and Jack of former Pagong into a tie at 5 votes apiece, based on the assumption they were their tribes weakest players. At the tiebreaker, Kristen prevailed, sealing Jack’s fate as the last member of the pre-jury, and giving Tagi the majority they so coveted for.
Alexa was the next Pagong to be voted out, and just as an actual ‘pagonging’ seemed like it would take place, Bill and Stephen, feeling threatened by the numbers of Amy, Kristen, and Viola, formed a plan to turn on their former Tagi members by enlisting the help of Ashley and Dot to pick them off at Final 7. Stephen’s sudden change to vote out Ashley instead, combined with Viola hearing about the plan from Dot and later Chris, ultimately lead to Stephen’s boot the next round. An altercation at the Final 7 emerged between Chris and the hosts when a ruling was placed that Chris did not agree with, causing him to quit the game and sparing Viola’s threesome alliance once more.
Flustered at his place in the game, Bill tried making a move against Viola and the girls at the Final 6 once he won Individual Immunity, teaming up with Ashley and Dot to once again force a tie against Kristen. In a near photo finish, Kristen again proved she was the tiebreaker queen, sending Ashley home and giving herself, Viola, and Amy the numbers they needed. When Bill failed to win Immunity at the Final 5, his former girls targeted him for the move he tried making in the previous round, and just when it seemed like it was a lock for Viola and her girls to make the Final 3, Dot came in like a wrecking ball and snatched Immunity with a mind-blowing lead in the Archives challenge, securing her place in the game for a couple of more days.
Her victory was short-lived though, as Viola went on to win her fourth Individual Immunity of the season, voting Dot out of the game right before the finals for she felt threatened by Dot’s more positive standing with members of the jury than her own.
-seeing into the future a little here-
In the end, Viola’s physical and controlling game earned her the title of Sole Survivor, gaining the votes of five of the seven Jury members. Viola dedicated her win to the many African Americans that were rooting for her since the season started in February, which is ironically Black History Month where Viola was the only contestant of color.
Notable Episodes
- Episode #4 (Urijah Boot) ~ Watching Urijah throw his own tribe mate under the bus to the hosts would be entertaining. His realization of the alliance between Amy/Kristen/Viola would also be fun to watch, but because Urijah presented himself as someone untrustworthy, watching his fail would be fun for all my fans, lol.
- Episode #5 (Taylor Boot) ~ I’d like to see how Chris was able to survive Tribal Council when he was seemingly the one reason Pagong lost.
- Episode #7 (Jack Boot) ~ this would be a fun episode, watching both tribes merge with even numbers and vote together at Tribal Council. It’d definitely be dramatic, since this one of the rounds that determined the pace of the rest of the game.
- Episode #9 (Stephen Boot) ~ this would be a fun round episode to watch for Amy/Kristne/Viola fans, who were completely unaware of the potential blindsides that awaited them at Final 7 until Viola found out from Dot and Chris, and then to flip the vote on Stephen and vote him out, who was probably a favorite to win, would be fun. I’d watch it, lol.
- Episode #10 (Chris Boot) ~ This episode would only be fun to watch only for the altercation that goes on between the hosts and Chris, leading up to him quitting.
- Episode #11 (Ashley Boot) ~ The immunity Challenge came down to Bill and Viola, Bill basically fighting for his life in the game, and he came out victorious. It’d be fun for all the people annoyed with Amy/Kristen/Viola by this point, and the forced tiebreaker between Ashley and Kristen would be dramatic.
- Episode #12 (Kristen Boot) ~ Dot coming in like a wrecking ball and winning the challenge out of nowhere would surely bring some excitement, since it finally forces the Tagi-3 to turn on each other.
Character Arc
- Unfortunately, my character arc would be kinda boring, hah. Without trying to sound conceited or anything, I think I started off the game pretty strong and remained in a good position throughout. So I guess, my character arc would be … starting off as a confident woman (of color, lol) in the beginning of the game, but then becoming extremely paranoid around Episode 9, because I was so paranoid and offended that there was a plan to blindside me and I didn’t figure it out on my own, lol, and then me becoming “normal” again once I had majority going into the Final 5. Honestly I have no idea what a character arc is lmao so this is just based on my understanding that I learned from Wikipedia! XOXO. Someone like Kristen would have a more interesting Character Arc, I feel like ~ “Seen But Not Heard” in the pre-merge, the recipient of most of the negative answers in the Majority Rules Challenge, and then kind of came to be a Dark Horse by winning two crucial tiebreakers (which really paved the game in the direction it went) in addition to an Individual Immunity Challenge.
Season Comparison
Lastly, if I had to compare this season of States to a season from the actual show, I would compare it to Season 24: One World – not the best or most exciting season, but definitely not the worst (I mean, we couldn’t have been as bad as Marquesas, right? Lol). I think the parallels between One World are quite obvious; well – basically the female alliance that Kim controlled, lol, which I compare to Amy, Kristen and I. For the most part, due to Kim’s control of the game for so long, the season did end up being kind of boring since there wasn’t really a chance for anything to go “wrong” in Kim’s favor, and it became her game to lose. The right person won, which is always a good thing, and in the end Kim played a game that worked for her, allowing her to get to the end with her closest friends. It was a great female alliance that worked (and I’m all for Girl Power!), but definitely not the Black Widow Brigade that flawlessly dominated Micronesia.
I do think that when you strip a season of things that make it so unique (Idols, Tribe Swaps, Prizes, etc.) then you’re taking away all of the aspects of it that make it so special, unique, and entertaining. So yeah, a Back To Basics season was bound to not pack the same entertainment as previous seasons because there isn’t much of a reason to turn on the people you’ve been working with the whole game. I was originally interested in this season because I wanted to see how I would do in a season where I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about splitting votes or worrying about idols or prizes. It is a season that is all about numbers and making sure you are on the right side of it, and it was very fun for me to make sure I ended up on the right side of it. I personally loved this season of Delaware because I think it’s been my best performance in this series, and I’ve been screwed over by some awful prizes before that it was nice to know I didn’t have to worry about them lol.
Amy didn't answer.
Alexa went next:
Oi you. Yeah, you two. Alexa here. Unlike most of this lot, you two really didn’t fuck me over in any significant way, (we’re just gonna ignore the fact that Alexa hurt herself more than anyone else so hush) so there’s no real hard feelings on my end.
But....you know, there’s a flipside to that coin. Amy, you talked to me that one night - not a bad convo by any means, pretty fun, but y’know, it was just the one. Viola, you liked a few of my posts, but you literally never once talked to me. I literally don’t know a single thing about you, and vice versa I suppose, other than that you have skills at carnival esque games. If I were being completely honest with myself, I should just flip a coin and vote that way.
But where’s the effin’ fun in that? This game was kinda, I don’t know how to but it politely - ah, soulless. It may as well have been a Pagonging - I coulda told you the boot order from my round boot, and it woulda more or less been right. And from what the jury’s saying, you lot are the one’s responsible for it. Well, most of the jury anyway - I’m kinda just munchin’ on some popcorn, first actual juror goddess and all that jazz.
So, how do we liven’ things up a bit? I mean, I could verbally trash you - talk about how pregamers suck and all that. But we already got some negative nancies round’ these parts it seems - and I like to consider myself, y’know, at least a LITTLE original. So, basically, I want myself and the other jurors to be entertained, because the only two people really entertained in this game were you two as you waltzed you way to the finale.
Fun fact: I’m a big book nerd. So here’s what imma have you do, because as a juror, I can literally determine my voting criteria on ANYTHING. It’s actually pretty awesome, go me. So, give me a short story. Can be about this game, the celebrities we’re playing as, whatevs. Just has to be entertaining, well structured, the works. Ballpark within about 2000 words, and post it here. And then I’ll choose which one I like better, and that lady will have my jury vote - and hey, get three more, you win this whole shebang. Show me your dedication to actually win this game, and I suppose a semblance of understanding of the English language, and I’ll reward ya’.
Get on it, ladies. The clock’s a ticking.
Viola answered:
Hi Alexa,
Sorry this took so long. In my defense, 2000 words is like hella words lol (or 1997 words in my case). I was going in a more fanfiction direction with this, so sorry it's not original!
Synopsis: Life isn’t easy for Alexa. The former Spy Kid now operates as a freelance detective at her school, solving mysteries from who stole the cookie from the cookie jar to, “Who is my boyfriend texting?!” Her side gig has been going well, that is, until Kristen, a transfer student with a Private Investigator background of her own, starts stealing her customers. Coupled with the rumors that her boyfriend Jack may be swapping more than just gamer tags with the new guy he’s been hanging out with, how will Alexa deal with the madness that is her life?
~~~
“The atomic theory is not BOHR-RING at all!” Mr. Nye boasted in class. “Get it? Niels Bohr? Boring? I crack myself up!” While her whimsical science teacher continued talking about the structure of an atom, Alexa ignored him, and tried getting the attention of the girl in front of her. She kicked the seat of the blonde girl several times, until she finally whipped her head around.
“What?!” Ashley whispered, clearly not wanting to get called out by Mr. Nye to answer a question she wouldn’t know the answer to.
“Excuse me?” Alexa whispered back. She was offended by the tone in Ashley’s voice, but ignored it.
“Anyways, I’m getting a couple of leads on that person who’s been texting you. But I’m gonna need a bit of extra money to chase them down.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it.” Ashley responded back quietly over her shoulder. “Kristen figured it out already.”
“What!” Alexa exclaimed out loud, and immediately regretted it.
“Ahh! Miss Vega!” Mr. Nye exclaimed. “Perhaps you are just as excited about the emission spectrum of hydrogen and energy levels than I? Would you like to elaborate any further?”
“Sorry, Professor.” Alexa responded, sinking back into her seat. When Mr. Nye continued speaking, Alexa leaned into Ashley again, speaking quietly. “What the hell, Ash! I told you I was working on it! Kristen has been taking everyone from now, and now you too?”
“You’ve been trying to figure out this A thing for like, three weeks now. It took Kristen three hours. No offense, she’s just faster!”
“I hope B doesn’t come after you next.”Alexa whispered, sitting back in her seat.
“If B does text me, I’m sure Kristen will take care of it.” Ashley shrugged her shoulders, ignoring Alexa for the rest of class.
When the bell rang signaling the period was over, Alexa was the first one out the door. Chemistry was her last class, and she had no intentions of hanging around any longer than she had to. As she followed the path that lead from the Science Wing to the main quad, Alexa saw Kristen coming out of the girl’s bathroom. She quickened her pace to catch up to her.
“Kristen!” Alexa called. “Kristen!” She yelled again. Kristen paused and waited for Alexa to catch up to her.
“Yeah?” Kristen asked when Alexa was finally in earshot.
Alexa took a second to catch her breath “I’ve been trying to figure out who A is for a month. It took you three days. How?” Alexa didn’t know why she asked Kristen such a silly question, as if her number one competitor would be so willing to share her secrets of the trade. She remained hopeful, though.
Kristen giggled. "Maybe you should worry less about me and my tactics, and more about your man Jack ... he is still your man, right Alexa? Or did he and Andrew finally make it official?” Kristen arched an eyebrow.
"Really, Kristen?" Alexa challenged. "The best you can do is tell me my boyfriend is gay?"
"Oh, so you know? About them playing footsies in the library? The romantic coffee dates at Philz?” Alexa was silent for a minute. She didn’t know what to say. Kristen continued. "A guy in my math class wanted to know if his boyfriend was loyal, so I made a fake Dickstr profile, and look who sent me a message --" Kristen tapped her phone a couple of times before showing it to Alexa. "Look familiar?"
Alexa studied the picture for a second. It was Jack. He stood in dark blue underwear in the middle of his room. She recognized the white hamper he owns that was in the corner of the picture. Yes, she knew it was Jack, but she still refused to accept it. “Oh please, that’s not him.”
Kristen grabbed her phone back, tapped on a couple of more things, and started reading. “Hey, I see you go to Dell High. So do I. Needs to be discreet because I have a gf, but I love the cock. Have a friend that might be interested for some group play as well. Your pic gets mine”
“Jack isn’t gay.” Alexa said softly.
“Yeah?” Kristen chuckled. “Said no one ever.”
“Jack isn’t gay!” Alexa was practically shouting now. Several students turned their heads, but kept on moving. She looked at Kristen again. “He. Isn’t. Gay.”
Kristen stared at Alexa. She could see her face begin to turn red and tremble, but she didn’t care. “Then why isn’t he spending his Friday evening with you?”
With that, Kristen turned and continued walking in the other direction.
Alexa stood in the middle of the quad, which was beginning to clear out. Flustered at her encounter with Kristen that did not go in the direction she thought it would, she admitted defeat and began to walk home. As she headed through the parking lot where some students were still waiting to get picked up, her phone rang. It was Jack.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hey, baby!" Jack replied. "Listen, I know we were supposed to have dinner tonight, but Andrew’s running late, we still haven’t made it to The Lounge yet. Would it be okay if I just picked you up later tonight and we can just eat somewhere simple?”
Alexa wanted to vomit at the mention of Andrew’s name. What the fuck! She thought. Visions of the two boys flirtatiously bumping knees as they sipped on coffee flooded her mind. But she remained calm. "Yeah, babe, whatever sounds good for you. Just text me when you're gonna pick me up?"
Jack happily replied. "Perfect! I'm thinking Costco? I'm craving a hotdog." Cause it's shaped like a fucking penis? Alexa thought. "Anyways, I'll see you later. I'm still waiting on Andrew, he was supposed to be here 30 minutes ago. Laters, love!" What straight guy calls his girlfriend love?!
Jack hung up the phone before Alexa could say anything else. She let out a sigh and continued walking home. She couldn't get over the questionable picture Kristen had showed her, all of the time he was suddenly spending with Andrew, or his new-found love for hotdogs. Alexa even began recalling the several times she and Jack had sex, but couldn’t even remember a time when he might have been faking it. She was really confident in her thrusting skills.
Alexa turned left onto Haskell and was a few minutes away from home, which was on the corner of Ware and 32nd. She’s made this trip plenty of times before without anyone accompanying her. It was still bright outside. Music was blaring through the headphones connected to her ears. It was for that loud music that Alexa wasn't able to notice the mysterious black woman trailing behind her, or the van that pulled up right next to her. In just a matter of seconds, the black woman behind her had injected a syringe into the side of Alexa's neck, caught her body as it fell limp, and swiftly carried it into the van that was waiting. The van drove off.
~~~
Alexa's eyes slowly opened. She didn’t know where she was, or what had happened. The last memory she had was walking home, and everything else was a blank afterwards. She analyzed her surroundings and realized she was in a conference room of some sort. A rectangular table stretched through in the middle of the room, reclining chairs distributed evenly. Aside from the projector screen that was towards the front wall, there was nothing unusual about the setting, aside from the fact she still had no idea why she was there. It wasn’t until Alexa turned around completely in her seat that she realized she wasn’t alone.
“Took you long enough, Sleeping Beauty.” Kristen responded. She was standing against the wall near the door, arms crossed across her chest. “We’ve all been awake for at least an hour now.”
Alexa was so in shock of seeing Kristen that she didn’t even notice there three guys sitting near her in the back, and like Kristen, Alexa recognized them from school; Sean, who played on the football team and was a year older than her. Jake, who was in Alexa’s History class but barely spoke to, and the last guy, she had never personally spoken to, but she knew he was a student at Dell as well. She studied his face for a few seconds, until Alexa finally recalled her confrontation with Kristen earlier in the day.
“Andrew?” Alexa asked. Andrew nodded his head, giving an awkward “hello” gesture with his hands. She glanced up at Kristen, who was smiling. “Awkward!” She mouthed silently. Alexa stood up, finally able to collect her voice for the first time. “What’s going on?” As the words left her mouth, the door in the corner swung open, almost hitting Kristen in the process. A black woman, the same black woman that was trailing Alexa earlier in the day, entered the room.
“SIT DOWN” Her booming voice commanded as she walked towards the front of the room.
Sean stood up from his seat now. “Not until you tell us what the hell -”
“I SAID, SIT DOWN!”
Alexa didn’t think it was possible for this black woman’s voice to get any louder. She was wrong. She and Sean quickly sat back down, while Kristen dashed for a seat in between everyone. At the front of the room, the woman tugged down on the pull-string of the projector screen, pulling it all the way down so it could retract back up. With the white board behind the screen now visible, Alexa could read, in big, bold, handwriting, the words “PR Initiative” written largely.
“My name is Viola.” The black lady started. She placed a brief case on the desk in front of her, unzipped it, and took out several manila folders. “And I’m sure you are all wondering why you are here.”
The room fell silent. Viola’s presence was so strong and commanding, her voice cold. Her eyes darted from one student to the other, locking on each of them for a couple of seconds. With the manila folders in hand, she walked up to the students, placing them in the center of everyone with a loud slam. The folders had each of their names on them, which they all reached for. Alexa was shocked to find a profile of herself put together; everything with information regarding the murder of her father, a memo that detailed a shoplifting incident she was involved with in middle school, her grade point average and academic achievement, more memos regarding her extra-curricular activities, and behind this all were pictures – candid photos of her from walking to and from school, pictures of her with Jack outside of school, even a picture of her changing clothes in her bedroom. She quickly became embarrassed when she realized a nipple was visible in a photo.
Alexa turned to her peers, who were all studying the contents of the folder. Their fingers were slowly sorting through each one, puzzled looks on their faces.
“I don’t get it.” Sean whispered. “What is this? Why are we all here?” Everyone looked at Viola, all with the same questions in mind.
Viola was silent for a couple of seconds before finally speaking up. “I was instructed, by a very important man, to recruit a group of teenagers with attitude.”
Amy didn't answer.
Kristen came forward:
Amy and Viola! My favorite two bitches. Before I start, I just wanted to give you this for voting me out.
I love you both! I've just really been wanting to use that gif for the entire game. So let's get down to it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am so excited to see two members of the uh-oh oreo in the Final 2! It's got me like:
A lot of people didn't think I contributed much to this game (I couldn't totally disagree with them; I was laid back for the majority of this game.) I did, however, help our alliance out by winning those tie-breakers, so I wasn't a complete waste of an alliance member.
I think you both are fantastic. Some of my favorite people I've ever met in ORGs. I want to start off by listing a few good attributes about each of you. Let's start with Amy:
AMY! You are honestly one of the funniest people (persons? Which fucking one is it?) I have ever met. There were times where you had me laughing uncontrollably. Amy Poehler is one of my favorite funny ladies, and you did her proud!
VIOLA! You were the cream that held the uh-oh oreo together. Because you're black and the cream is chocolate. No. Seriously. You founded the alliance and you never allowed either one of us to falter. You told us who to vote each round and we stuck to it. You were the heart of the alliance.
I love both of you so much. Trying to decide between the two of you has me like:
I have a couple of questions to ask each of you! Let's dive right in.
I want both of you to, in no less than the length of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, give me a history lesson on the state of Delaware.
Kidding.
In all seriousness:
Amy: Pretend you are a jury member right now. I want you to list one reason you would vote for Amy (yourself) and one reason you would vote for Viola.
Viola: Same question just a little different. Pretend you are a jury member right now. I want you to list one reason you would NOT vote for Amy and one reason you would NOT vote for Viola (yourself).
I also want both of you to tell me that if a million dollars was really rewarded at the end of this. What are at least three things that you would use the money for.
Thank-you both for being such great alliance members. I love you both!! <3
Viola went first:
Hi Kristen It was great playing with you girl. To answer your questions (thanks times a million and one for making them simple lol)
One Reason I wouldn’t vote for Amy if I were on the Jury: Although Amy proved herself to be a very loyal ally (to me at least, hah), she really just sat back and let me do all of the work for our alliance. I do feel like it was because, if someone were to have been voted out, Amy could simply argue “Well, it was Viola’s idea, not mine.” It also seemed like she didn’t put much effort into challenges as you and I did, so even though I knew I could count on her for a vote in my favor, I still had to give 110% effort in challenges to make sure we still had control.
One Reason I wouldn’t vote for Viola if I were on the Jury: Viola was immune half of the post-merge and was always in a comfortable position, so she basically couldn’t get voted off because she was always protected and didn’t have as difficult of a journey to get to the end. She also made zero effort to get to know everyone in the game, leaving some of the jury members with little to base their vote on aside from her challenge wins.
3 things I would use the prize money on:
1. I'd buy my mom a house in the Philippines so she can retire there. Lol it seems like I'm being cheesy and all, but realistically $5,000 American dollars could probably get her a mansion in the province she's from, so I wouldn't be losing a significant amount
2. I'd buy three French Bulldogs, because I think they're so cute but they're so expensive!
3. And I'd hire a casting agent, so they could help me get on Survivor or Big Brother because I'd love to be on either show and you apparently need to be a model or have an agent to get cast!
Then Amy:
SO MUCH FUN PLAYING WITH YOU KRISTENNNNN!!!!!!!!!
AMY. I would vote for her ass because Am's had a FUN social game.
VIOLA. I would vote for her ass because Vi has the whole package. She didn't have all her eggs in one basket. Some eggs in the social basket, some in the comps basket, and more eggs in planning bucket.
PRIZE MONEY:
1. Travel the world
2. Buy a Condo by the beach and another condo in a high rise in a city
3. And whatever my parents wanted, which is probably a house near a church and baseball field. haha
.....lots or property investments!
Stephen made a statement:
I'd just like to say congratulations to you both. You played a very good game, and despite our best efforts you made it here, and that's quite impressive.
I haven't got any questions. I think I know pretty much everything I'd like to know at this point, but I'll keep an eye on everything else that's being said at this TC (well, mostly). So have fun, don't feed the trolls, and shake it off, or whatever Taylor Swift is saying these days.
Dot-Marie came forward:
So my question to the two of you is my standard go to.. Compare each juror and finalist to a gif or gifs. Since both of you are busy I'll be okay if it's just one per person. Good luck girls
Amy answered:
I am honored to present the gif awards
Dot
Because I love Penny from Happy Endings, you remind me of her
Kristen
My support....
Bill
Bill's plan of action to flip against Tagi = yellow ball
Ashely
Tells it how it is...
Chris
Exiting Delaware like
Stephen
Don't give no f****s, bad a** b****
Alexa
Fierce
Amy
Rollin w/ my possy like
Viola
Self Explanatory..
Viola then answered:
Sorry Dot, I accidentally missed this! I'm not as funny as Amy, so I guess you can see my gifs are a more literal interpretation, heh.
Jack
My fucking co-worker is a hottie <3 I get horny whenever he has his sex scenes on HTGAWM LOL. So the first two gifs represent all of the awesomness that is Connor Walsh. And the last one, I just had to throw out there for his performance in that tiebreaker against Kristen … Jack didn't know what he was doing, but he sure looked cute doing it!
Alexa
Anyone watch season 2 of Big Brother Canada?! If not, the Ika reference won’t make any sense, but if you did, Alexa’s brash personality TOTALLY reminds me the one and only Ika Wong! I never spoke directly to Alexa in the game, but I can totally imagine her blowing up like Ika did when she was shredding everyone’s letters – and laughing about it too! Hah. For those that didn’t watch it, then if you’ve heard of the movie Kingsmen: The Secret Service, there’s this crazy psycho bitch with blades for legs and she’s scary as hell and that’s who I relate Alexa to! Basically someone I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of, lol.
Stephen
Hah I didn’t really know what to put for Stephen … good efforts on trying to get the game to shift to your side … I’m happy it didn’t work though, because I probably wouldn’t be here!
Ashley
LOL this is a total stretch but if anyone ever watched Pokemon you’ll know I’m not crazy!! I think Ashley was one of the most loyal people in this game, her honesty if not wanting to vote off Dot at Final 5 made me go, “Aw shucks, you loyal bitch!” Lol. I relate her to this Charmander, particularly Ash’s very first encounter with this Charmander, who was waiting for his owner to come back to him, even though the trainer never planned on coming back And Ashley of course gets a fierce Hannah Marin gif, probably the most underestimated of the four girls, but we all know she’s the one to watch out for!
Bill
I loved Bill, just like how I love Meghan Trainor! There’s a picture of me meeting Meghan Trainor in my confessional so you can see how happy I was, like, my eyes were practically closed -_- But I gotta give Bill this gif because no matter how hard I tried to work with him, every time I asked him something, it was always a lie!
Kristen
Oh, the dark horse that came to be! I think everyone wanted you dead at one point in this game, lol! Glad you didn’t, of course
Dot
I loved Dot, she was great, so loveable and adorable, like Baymax! But she drove me crazy with her, “Maybe I’ll flip and work with Tagi, maybe I won’t” attitude which she pulled at Final 10 and again at Final 6, it drove me crazy! I wanted to grab her by her hair and throw her over a gate just like Principal Trunchbull did to Lavendar in the movie Matilda
Amy
While I do think Amy is a funny person and provided some great comedic relief at times, it can also be said that most of the game she was just sleeping, as seen with some of her performances in Individual Immunity Challenges as well as her failing to answer all of the jury’s questions. No offense girl, just wish you woke up earlier!
Viola
The first gifs are overused, I know, I don’t care, lol, I REALLY think the whole “I am who I am, if you don’t like it I don’t care.” thing really sticks to how I played the game! Because at the end of the day Survivor is an individual game and it’s not my job to set everyone else in a position to win as well, it’s my job to make sure I win by whatever means necessary, and I’ll of course drag along the people I’m working with as far as I can, until it becomes threatening. Some people will see that as a copout. I don’t care ? As for the last gif, it basically represents how I feel about the States Series! It’s not that hard to have fun people! It’s a game we’re playing at the end of the day, a fictitious one at that. If you win you win, if you lose you lose. I ENJOY meeting new people just as much as I enjoy the possibility of winning. Sorry if I offended anyone in the game. I was just having fun
Finally it was Bill's turn:
Amy, Viola, congratulations on making it to the end. My question for you is simple:
What would it mean for you, personally, to win Survivor States: Delaware?
Viola answered:
I was 16 when I made my first ProBoards account and played an online reality game. It was for the TV show on Discovery Kids, Endurance! Oh, that dreaded Samadhi and Temple Of Fate! Since 2005, I've probably played in over 10 Endurance games, 20 Big Brother games, and 30 Survivor games, and I've never won a single one!!!! Story of my life! It wasn't even until last year that I made it to the Finals for my first time! Good Lord!
Winning Delaware would make me the happiest queer in the world because I really do think I worked my ass off to get to where I am, and I didn't let any of the great relationships I made in this game cloud my judgement. I made decisions that strictly put me on a path to winning, and it'd be a huge disappointment if I didn't!
And after 10 years of playing, I think I'm pretty overdue for a win already!
Then Amy:
This sounds like a pageant question....
Well, I know I do not have your vote, and Viola's answer was totally cute. BUT, simply, winning Delaware would indeed feel like winning Miss America, or something of that nature. I would feel shocked, I would have tears ruining my fake tanned face, and I probably wouldn't have a speech ready...just like now. It would mean a lot. AND PLUS, I saw what my winning banners would look like if I did win, and they look fabuloussssssssss.
Best of luck with your vote Bill. You were tons of fun in this game.
When the votes were read, Dot-Marie and Stephen voted for Amy, while Kristen, Bill, Ashley, Alexa and Jack voted for Viola, crowning her the winner of Survivor States: Delaware!
Amy, Dot-Marie, Kristen, Bill, Ashley, Alexa and Jack were selected as All Stars.
